Community Sport updated on 16/7/20

The message is simple, this weekend we are asking you to continue following the COVID-19 safe guidelines.
but need to emphasise that only those that are needed to attend at the grounds/pitches/venue should be limited to those that are absolutely necessary.
The following has been added to the return to play guidelines and Clubs need to take all reasonable steps to implement the following:
It is recommended in the AIS Framework that juniors are only accompanied by one parent/carer to minimise the risk of crowds and transmission spread. It is also recommended that you consider vulnerable members of your family (e.g. people over 70 years of age) and that they do not attend to minimise their risk of infection.
It is recommended that spectator entry at adult community sport be limited
The following participants must stand down:
participants (including spectators & volunteers) returning from Victoria in the past 14 days or
Participants (including spectators & volunteers) who have attended a case location in NSW. Please go to https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates to determined case locations.
Please – Maintain Social Distancing
Social distancing between individuals at community sporting events MUST be 1.5m – this includes all spectators.
Failure to adhere to social distancing may cause an immediate review of community sport activity by the Government.
Please continue your vigilance and reinforce these safety messages to your members so community sport remains open.
